Bringing mental health support closer to home
Let Your Light Shine Jevon Link Society works to improve access to mental health, suicide prevention, grief, and addiction supports in rural communities across southwest Nova Scotia. Through education, advocacy, financial support, and community outreach, we are working to ensure people can find help when they need it most.
Turning loss into hope for our community
Founded in 2022 by Louann and David Link in memory of their son Jevon, the society was created after their family experienced first-hand the gaps in mental health support available in rural Nova Scotia. Today, his memory inspires a growing effort to support others, raise awareness, and help build stronger communities.
Bringing our community together
Let Your Light Shine Jevon Link Society hosts events throughout the year to raise awareness, support mental health initiatives, and bring our communities together.
From the annual Jevon Link Memorial Golf Tournament and Canada Day Fun Run to community walks, softball tournaments, and local fundraisers, every event helps support the society’s work across southwest Nova Scotia.
Get involved and help make a difference
There are many ways to support the work of Let Your Light Shine Jevon Link Society. Volunteer your time, attend or support a community event, make a donation, or help us spread awareness about mental health and suicide prevention.
Every contribution helps us continue bringing support, education, and connection to communities across southwest Nova Scotia.
